Fast forward 12+ years, and I’m still in love with helping women feel like that girl when they step out. Over time, wigs became my thing—especially after going natural myself. Like many of us, I’ve had those moments where a wig just didn’t feel right. It didn’t look natural, or it didn’t give what it was supposed to give. I knew I had to fix that. I started creating wigs by hand and customizing them to fit real women with real lifestyles—and the results spoke for themselves. As demand grew, I transitioned to machine-stitched wigs to ensure quality, consistency, and longevity with every unit. Every stitch is done with care, and every style is designed to help you feel confident and become her—bold, soft, rooted, or signature… just like you. Now, while I'm currently on my own beautiful loc journey, wigs still play a huge part in my creative expression and self-care. How long is shipping? Processing takes 3–5 business days. After that, please allow 10–21 business days for construction and shipping (excluding holidays and weekends). Note: This does not apply to our “Becoming On Demand” collection. What do I need to do to provide my own hair? Make sure your bundles are washed, detangled, and free of product buildup before sending. Additional fees will apply if the hair is not manageable. Do you accept other payment methods like Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, or checks? No. All payments must be made through the official website at checkout for security and tracking purposes. What if I have a special request? For custom requests not listed on the site, please include details in the comments section at checkout. You can also contact us before placing your order to confirm availability. What type of hair is used? We offer Brazilian hair, depending on the wig you choose. Note: Some textures may include an additional fee. Can I expedite my order or “jump the line”? Yes! At checkout, you can select Expedited Service, which cuts processing time by 10–15 business days and includes overnight shipping once completed. What is your refund policy? Absolutely no refunds, returns, or exchanges. Each unit is made with intention and quality in mind. We stand firmly behind our NO REFUND / NO EXCHANGE policy. Do you have any wigs on hand? Yes! Any available units will be listed under our “Becoming On Demand” collection. ​ ​Can I pick up my wig instead of having it shipped? Yes! We love that you're excited to receive your unit. Simply select the “Pick Up” option at checkout. Once your wig is complete, we’ll contact you with the pickup date and details. What is the lace in the front of the wig for? That “lace thingy” is the excess lace from your lace closure or frontal. It’s designed to be cut off after your wig is properly fitted to help create a natural hairline. If you’d like us to cut the lace for you, just leave a note in the comments section at checkout, and we’ll take care of it! How long will my wig last? Your BHH wig is built to last at least 1 year, and with proper care, it can last 2+ years. Washing, styling, and heat are all fine—just be gentle and use quality products to maintain the integrity of the hair. Treat your unit with love, and it’ll keep showing up for you. To keep your unit looking fresh and flawless, we recommend using our “Becoming Renewed” service for professional maintenance and touch-ups throughout the year.

Refund Policy Absolutely no refunds, returns, or exchanges. At Becoming Her Hair, each unit is made with intention, care, and attention to detail. Because all wigs are custom-made or made-to-order, we firmly stand behind our NO REFUND / NO EXCHANGE / NO RETURN policy. Please double-check all selections and details before placing your order. Shipping Policy Please allow 3–5 business days for order processing and 10–21 business days for production and shipping (excluding weekends and holidays). All wigs are made per request to ensure they meet the Becoming Her Hair quality standard before leaving our hands.
